Wasn’t easy taking the decision to renovate the flooring whilst staying/working from home. However the installation team were seamless, clean and took all safely measures. Irina was my first point of contact, she was so accommodating and knowledgeable with helping me make my decision. Nordic Homeworxx is hands down the BEST Wood flooring company in Dubai. You really get what you pay for and their customer service is unheard of in Dubai - outstanding! We absolutely love looking at our beautiful Oak Village Kährs wood floor from Nordic Homeworx! It brings us a lot of joy every time we walk through our front-door to be surrounded by wood. The staff at Nordic Homeworx are friendly, responsive and reliable.But (and it is a very big but) I am sad to say we regret buying it! The protective treatment that came with the floor (called satin oil) is not fit for purpose. Satin oil provides almost no protection at all. The tiniest drop of water makes a permanent silvery stain on the floor within minutes. Bigger drops of water (or longer exposures) create large, permanent, ugly black stains.Even if you remain in a state of continual vigilance (and you must!) accidents will happen. There are hundreds of ways to ruin a fragile Oak Village wood floor from Kährs. Satin oil provides no protection against A/C technicians, plumbers, washing machine/dishwasher repairmen, drooling pets and babies, excited children or clumsy adults.House plants are deadly to this floor. Wherever you put them, even if you put a saucer underneath, even if you are careful watering them, eventually, houseplants will ruin this floor.A lot of places are unsuitable for this floor; the dining room, a babys nursery, near an aquarium, anywhere pets go, anywhere near the kitchen, anywhere near the bathroom... satin oil is not enough to protect the floor in places like these.We asked Nordic Homeworx if there was a treatment that could protect our beautiful (but fragile) floor better than satin oil. After speaking to Kährs, Nordic Homeworx confirmed that there was nothing better available. We went ahead and purchased costly repairs to our floor from Nordic Homeworx. Their prompt and professional repair service was excellent as always. The floor looked stunning again... for less than a week. Then another big black stain appeared under a house plant. It was so demoralizing.We have now purchased (against the advice of Nordic Homeworx) a different product to treat our floor. Its called American Wood Oil. It needs to be activated with UV light to seal the floor against water damage. Experiments on a small sample suggest that this product might provide a good level of protection, but well have to wait and see.Kährs make extremely beautiful engineered wood floors with natural oak that you will instantly fall in love with. Sadly, we cannot recommend buying them because the finishing oil they provide does not adequately protect the floor from normal everyday use. This renders it unfit for purpose.

We had our floor in out masterbedroom done by Nordic Homeworx. They did an amazing job, all the work was done to a very high standard. The workers cleaned up everyday so that we could still sleep in our bedroom while the work was being done.The service was professional and to a very high standard, all the way from the first meeting until the handover.This is a high quality company with a high quality product.Thanks a lot.

Horrible experience. Initially we visited their showroom and although the showroom was lovely I found it strange that we had to pay to arrange a ‘free quotation’ and an estimator come to measure our villa. He got lost 3 times on the way to our house as he couldn’t speak English. It was when we eventually received the quotation (after two weeks and three follow up phone calls from us), it was then we realised Nordic Homeworx was not only unprofessional they were also super expensive. Both me and my wife have renovated many properties in the UK and I know the price we’ve paid in the past for Kahrs hardwood flooring but Nordic Homeworx were nearly TREBLE UK prices!Despite the salesman Mr. Philippe’s daily repeated phone call’s and practically begging calls we had to warn him to stop calling us as we wouldn’t be using Nordic Homeworx. We went with another company and saved over 35,000 dirhams.Nordic Homeworx were very unprofessional and ridiculously overpriced. To be avoided at all costs.For your reference my quotation is Arabian Ranches and in the name of Claire Gerrard, my wife.I was giving an honest review of your company and it’s services and as the owner I’d have expected you to address these concerns and use them to improve your business.
